The new Birr Swimming Pool first opened in 1974 but has now been completely refurbished. The refurbishment included a major extension incorporating new changing rooms, a new fully equipped gym, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms and a new toddler’s pool. The swimming pool also caters for the young and old and at different times of the year swimming classes are held. The Gym holds different classes each week ranging from spinning, yoga to bum and tum classes and caters for both men and women.
