Birr Playground

The magnificent new children’s playground is situated next door to the Macregol's Gospel, reputedly one of the finest in the country. The playground is a perfect place for 3 to 12 year old children to play while Mum & Dad visit the historical manuscript next door. The Birr Playground Initiative was supported by Birr Lions Club, the local community and Birr Town Council. The area in which the playground is built was provided by Offaly County Council. The Playground is open all year round and is safely kitted for the most adventures of children.
